High-Pressure Iron and Steel Threaded Pipe and Pipe Fittings

161 Products

LILY Bearing stocks high-pressure iron and steel threaded pipe nipples, pipe, and flanges — extra-thick-wall construction in both plain steel and galvanized, plus a choice between standard and SAE flange bolt patterns. New to high-pressure threaded pipe, or not sure which flange pattern matches your system? Use the filters below, or the comparison table, to narrow down by product type and configuration.

Compare High-Pressure Threaded Pipe Products

Category Product Type Material Watch Out For
Extra-Thick-Wall Steel Threaded Pipe Nipples and Pipe Nipples & pipe Steel Thicker walls than our medium-pressure line — sized for high-duty service, one step below extreme-pressure
Extra-Thick-Wall Galvanized Steel Threaded Pipe Nipples and Pipe Nipples & pipe Galvanized steel Same extra-thick-wall construction with a zinc coating — better for outdoor or damp environments than plain steel
High-Pressure Steel Threaded Pipe Flanges Flanges Steel Standard bolt pattern — confirm your mating flange matches before ordering
High-Pressure Steel Threaded SAE Pipe Flanges Flanges (SAE) Steel Same pressure duty as the standard flange above, but a different bolt pattern — not interchangeable with it

Standard vs. SAE Flanges, Plain vs. Galvanized

The flanges in this category come in two bolt patterns — standard and SAE — that share the same pressure rating but aren't interchangeable, so it's the mating flange on your existing equipment that decides which one you need. The nipples and pipe come in plain steel or galvanized with identical wall thickness and pressure duty either way; galvanized adds a zinc coating for better corrosion resistance outdoors or in damp conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does "high-pressure" compare to LILY's medium- and extreme-pressure threaded lines?

These tiers reflect wall thickness, which determines the maximum pressure a fitting can safely handle. High-pressure fittings use extra-thick walls, one step up from our medium-pressure line but one step below the super-thick-wall construction of our extreme-pressure line.

What's the difference between standard and SAE flanges?

The difference is the bolt-hole spacing, not the pressure rating — both are rated for the same high-pressure service. SAE flanges follow a different bolt pattern than our standard flanges, so the two can't be bolted to each other; check what your mating equipment uses before ordering.

Should I choose plain steel or galvanized?

Choose galvanized if the piping will be outdoors, underground, or exposed to moisture, since the zinc coating protects against rust that plain steel has no defense against. For dry, indoor runs, plain steel costs less and performs the same mechanically.
