| Description | A52008-14 GROUND LOCK – ENTRY/SERVICE DOOR USAGE & DESCRIPTION: THE A52008-14 ENTRY/SERVICE DOOR GROUND LOCK IS USED ON ALL 767AIRPLANES. THE TOOL IS USED TO PREVENT THE ENTRY/SERVICE DOOR OPENING FROM THE OUTSIDE WHILE PERSONNEL ARE WORKING ON THE COUNTERBALANCE HOIST.REFER TO AMM 52-11-13 AND CURRENT A52008 DRAWING FOR ADDITIONAL USAGE INSTRUCTIONS. THE A52008-14 CONSISTS OF A -15 AFT PIN ASSEMBLY AND A -16FORWARD PIN ASSEMBLY AND A STORAGE BOX ASSEMBLY. THE -15 PIN ASSEMBLY IS A STRAIGHT PIN USED FOR THE AFT ENTRY/SERVICE DOORS. THE -16 PIN ASSEMBLY IS A HINGED SPRING PIN TO CLEAR ELECTRICAL WIRING ON THE FORWARD ENTRY/SERVICE DOORS. THE A52008-14 IS A RECOMMENDED SPARES ITEM. |
