Solid Oil Self-Aligning Ball Bearings
87 ProductsAbout Solid Oil Self-Aligning Ball Bearings
A self-aligning ball bearing has two rows of balls running in a common spherical outer ring raceway, so it absorbs shaft deflection and mounting error without inducing edge loading. Filled with an oil-saturated polymer matrix it also needs no relubrication, which suits long line shafts, textile machinery and agricultural drives where the housings are awkward to reach.
Open bearings are supplied for housings with their own seals; sealed types carry contact seals on both sides for wet or dusty positions. Cylindrical and tapered bores (suffix K, taper 1:12) are both stocked, the latter for adapter sleeve mounting.
Operating Limits
Standard fill runs continuously from −40 °C to +85 °C. Speed is limited well below the grease-lubricated rating; keep n · dm below 150 000, and note that sealed types are limited further by the seals themselves. Mount with an induction heater only, never above 100 °C, and never wash the bearing in solvent.
