Four-Point Contact Ball Bearings Loads

Minimum load, equivalent bearing loads
Minimum load
Equivalent dynamic bearing load
Locating bearings to accommodate radial and axial load:
Fa/Fr ≤ e → P = Fr + Y1 Fa
Fa/Fr > e → P = X Fr + Y2 Fa

For a proper functionality, Lily recommends:
Fa ≥ 1,27 Fr for bearings in the QJ 2, QJ 3 and QJ 10 series
Fa ≥ 1,78 Fr for bearings in the QJ 12 series

Thrust bearings with radial clearance in the housing in combination with a radial bearing (fig. 1)
P = 1,07 Fa for bearings in the QJ 2, QJ 3 and QJ 10 series
P = 0,81 Fa for bearings in the QJ 12 series
Equivalent static bearing load
P0 = Fr + Y0 Fa
