JEAGFKIF springs are elastic conical washers specifically engineered to provide axial preload for radial ball bearings. These precision disc springs eliminate internal play, absorb vibrations, and compensate for thermal expansion in rotating assemblies. By maintaining constant preload force across a wide deflection range, they significantly extend bearing service life while reducing operational noise in high-speed applications.
Available in two configurations: Plain Type for standard applications and Slotted Type for miniature bearings requiring lower preload forces. Both types feature a degressive force-deflection curve that maintains relatively constant force even as shaft dimensions change due to temperature variations or minor wear.
Key Features of JEAGFKIF Springs
- Constant Force Preload: Degressive force-deflection characteristics provide stable preload over wide deflection ranges, eliminating the need for precise installation tolerances
- Thermal Compensation: Automatically adjust to shaft expansion and contraction while maintaining optimal bearing preload
- Vibration Damping: Absorb operational vibrations and eliminate bearing noise caused by axial end play
- Space-Efficient Design: Low profile suitable for compact housings in motors, pumps, and power tools
- High-Carbon Steel Options: Available in high-quality carbon steel (CK75 with phosphated zinc coating) and stainless steel grades (SUS301/302/316, 17-4PH) for corrosion resistance
- Wide Size Range: Compatible with standard ball bearing sizes from 9.8mm to 358mm OD
- Prevents Ball Skidding: Maintains proper contact between rolling elements and raceways in high-speed operations
Applications of JEAGFKIF Springs
- Electric Motors: Maintains rotor alignment and reduces vibration-induced noise
- Centrifugal Pumps: Protects bearings from axial thrust loads and compensates for thermal growth
- Power Tools: Minimizes hand-arm vibration transmission to end-users
- Gearboxes: Ensures precise shaft positioning in high-speed transmission systems
- Automotive Components: Provides reliable preload in clutches, transmissions, and drive systems
- Industrial Machinery: Hydraulic systems, brake assemblies, and precision rotating equipment
