Cojinetes del turbocompresor
Los sistemas modernos de cojinetes turbo pueden clasificarse en dos tipos: sistemas de cojinetes hidrodinámicos y sistemas de cojinetes de bolas.
Los sistemas hidrodinámicos utilizan aceite de motor para lubricar y controlar el movimiento del eje, con opciones de dos cojinetes de deslizamiento totalmente flotantes o un cojinete semiflotante de una pieza. También se incorporan cojinetes de empuje para el control axial.
Los sistemas de rodamientos de bolas combinan cojinetes de deslizamiento y de empuje para mejorar el rendimiento, con menores holguras y menores pérdidas de potencia.
