Latest report from the American Machine Tool Distributors' Assn. (AMTDA) and the Association for Manufacturing Technology (AMT) said the U.S.
sales of water pump bearings machine tool equipment and components increased 16% during November, totaled $178.83 million.
However, the consumption dropped 16.2% year-to-date in November 2008, with totaled $213.50 million at that time. The 2009 11-month total for machine tool sales reached $1,552.53 million at the end of November. That figure reveals total sales of stainless steel bearings have fallen 63.4% versus the January-November 2008 total.
This is the third month seeing upward trend in manufacturing technology order of high speed bearings values in U.S. machine tool industry.
