To capitalize upon this potential requires not only a sales presence, but locally sourced product as well. Our objective is to achieve market share in Asia comparable to what we enjoy in the U.S. and Europe
The plant is presently equipped to produce metal-polymer plain bearings, but GGB will continue to invest in the facility to expand its capabilities to other product lines as well. GGB entered the China market with a sales office in Shanghai in 2004, followed by another in Beijing in 2007. The company plans to open a third office in South China later this year.
