Fire Hits Skf Hanover Facility

Release time : 2015-06-15 12:17:42
The SKF bearing plant in Hanover, Pennsylvania suffered minor damage and disrupted production when fire broke out in a section of the plant floor, quickly spreading to the high ceiling. Although the fire occurred in mid-morning and reportedly generated a great deal of smoke, employees evacuated the facility quickly and without incident. Penn Township firefighters responded to the alarm and were able to fully extinguish the fire before it caused any serious or widespread damage. Hanover Fire Department logs indicate two trucks responded to an automatic fire alarm at the same SKF facility back in July, but no fire was found.
