Originally I know austenitic this noun, it is in my college mechanical material book. I remembered it is a kind of steel organization and with the change of temperature, its molten carbon will bearings refer to bearings with austenitic organization at room temperature. Compared with traditional stainless steel bearings, austenitic stainless steel bearings have better anti-corrosion and diamagnetic performances.
Apart from these, austenitic stainless steel bearings are the same as traditional stainless steel bearings, which have such performances as rust-resistant, acid and alkali resistant and anti-corrosion.
Because austenitic is the organization of general steel at room temperature, so austenitic stainless steel has better heat resistant performance than traditional stainless steel, and austenitic stainless steel bearings has better usage performance than traditional stainless steel bearings under high temperature.It is difficult to understand to those who don't understand chemical elements and mechanical materials. So do those who just contact mechanical material for a short time. In fact, to put it simply, the differences of the two bearings mainly as follows:
1. Traditional stainless steel bearings have cheaper price and high hardness and can withstand high load and rotation speed. But its rust-proof and anti-corrosion performances are worse.
2. Austenitic stainless steel has better anti-corrosion and diamagnetic performances, but it can't be hardened as a whole, so it is not applicable to higher load and rotation speed.
According to the above description, we can choose appropriate stainless steel bearings from high hardness and anti-corrosion aspects according to different product requirements.
